Instead of asking you to buy typical fundraising stuff from our group, we are trying something totally new. All we ask is that you do your normal shopping though our website. These kittens are just a few of the many kittens here at the shelter. During the month of June all adoption fees are 1/2 price which still includes vouchers towards their sterilization and first vaccines with the Humane Society paying the difference between the vouchers and the Vet fees. Please, if you have been thinking about adopting a cat or kitten stop by 1390 Orchard Hill Rd. and take a look at all of our cats/kittens. Call 706-298-3606 for hours and directions.

The goal of the LaGrange Troup County Humane Society is for ALL animals adopted in Troup County to be spayed/neutered so that we never re-introduce an animal back into the pet population that could potentially breed more homeless animals. This is $75 well spent. You can't put a price on the love you will receive from this sweet girl.

The mobile adoption van will be at Lafayette Christian School or Emily's Place on Saturday, June 21. It will also be at the LaGrange Mall on Saturday. July 12. Please come to see us and take home a new friend.

You can help us by bringing by your used towels and donating them to the shelter. These can be dropped off at the Mobile unit on Saturday or brought to the Shelter.

If you just want to help, but are not sure how you can assist us without adopting a pet, the shelter really needs cat litter right now. We can always use help with off site adoptions, our education program, fundraising, and taking animals to the vet for spaying/neutering/shots. Contact Marsha at 706-298-3608.

People For Paws Motorcycle Ride August 16

We are holding the second annual People For Paws Motorcycle Ride on August 16 AT 9:00 AM: Register at LaGrange Troup County Humane Society, Located on Orchard Hill Road in Industrial Park. Ride leaves at 10:00 am, returns for lunch. $25 driver and $10 passenger. You can help by becoming a sponsor, buying a T-Shirt and showing up for the ride. Fur Ball is scheduled for August 23

Please remember to support the LaGrange Humane Society again this year with the annual Fur Ball scheduled for August 23, 2008 at Highland Country Club. The funds raised at this event will ensure that we can continue to spay/neuter animals such as Rachel. Volunteers will be selling tickets, asking for donations and selling raffle tickets. No donation is too large or too small.
