Meet Lucie! Lucie is an owner turn who is in need of a new family and home soon. She is a sweet, loving dog. She is up to date on vaccines, is spayed but is heart worm positive. She will have heartworm treatment on Jan 12th at Family Pet Care. She will be fine after treatment but will NEED to be on heart worm preventative. Please take the time to look at Lucie and think about providing her with the love she deserves. Her adoption fee will only be $18.50. To meet Lucie stop by 1390 Orchard Hill Rd. The Mobile unit will be at Walmart on Saturday, February 6, and again on Saturday, February 20. You can see the pet of the week from the shelter looking for a new home. Please support our efforts to find homes for these wonderful pets. They really deserve a chance to give someone all the love they have.

You can help us by bringing by your used towels and donating them to the shelter. These can be dropped off at the Mobile unit on Saturday or brought to the Shelter.

Look for us in the parade on Thursday, December 3, 2009. All the animals at the shelter will be wishing for a Merry Christmas and that Santa will bring them a new home for the holidays. Please consider adopting a pet like Josie this year for a gift that will keep giving for many years to come.

Help us help the animals. We still need volunteers to assist with taking our animals out into the community, doing fundraisers, taking animals to the vet and much, much more. If you would like a way to give back to your community and not sure how to get started, please consider becoming a volunteer to help speak for those who cannot speak for themselves.
